Merry Christmas/Happy Hanukkah/Happy Kwanzaa and merry happy everything else!
The holidays are one of my favourite times of the year. Everyone spends time together, we all exchange gifts and whatnot and spread holiday cheer. There is just a wonderful feeling around my house during the holiday season that makes it seem like we're all together at once, even when we're not. I live with my grandparents. One of my two aunts lives with us, one lives in Courtice, Ontario and my mom lives in Niagara Falls with my brothers and her boyfriend. I don't see my father very often, but I usually go to his house on Boxing Day. I go to my grandfather's parents on Christmas Eve, and this year I came up to my mom's afterward. Today we went to my mom's boyfriend's sister's house. I left early and have had a lonely Christmas since 2pm. Later, they'll all come home and my brothers will go to bed and the adults will have some time to prepare for tomorrow. At 7am, we will be leaving to go to my house with my grandparents, aunts, aunt's significant others and cousins. We will open presents there, then at 10am I'm going to my father's house. I'll open presents there, then go to my dad's mom's and open presents there, then go to my step-mom's dad's and have Boxing Day dinner. After everything is over I will go home and sleep on the couch while my mom and her boyfriend sleep in my bed. Oh joy. Oh well, because the couch is comfortable in my opinion.
Anyways, that's my Christmas story. Whats yours?
Happy Holidays, from
